Call for Proposals
Society of Vocational Psychology 2016 Conference
Integrating Theory, Research, and Practice in Vocational Psychology
May 16-17, Florida State University—Tallahassee, FL, USA
We invite and encourage you to submit a proposal for presentation at the 2016 Conference of the Society for Vocational Psychology. These presentations provide an excellent forum for all participants, including researchers, practitioners, and students to present their work in a relaxed and interactive setting. The SVP 2016 conference provides a unique opportunity to focus on the challenges and opportunities to better integrate theory, research, and practice in vocational psychology, as well as promote more evidence-based practice in our field. Plenary sessions, programs, roundtables, and posters by theorists, researchers, and practitioners, followed by discussions among these professionals and questions from conference participants, can help us raise awareness of the issues and suggest ways of productively moving forward. Ideally presentations will include examples of theory, practice, and research integration as well as suggestions and issues relevant to evidence-based practice.
